Welcome to the Neighborhood Sports North Austin Spring 2026 Season!
Neighborhood Sports is the official youth NHL Street Hockey league for boys and girls ages 5–12.
Our program gives young athletes the opportunity to play organized NHL Street Hockey right in their community. Players of all skill levels are welcome to join a high-quality, non-contact league where having fun while competing is always the top priority.
NHL Street Hockey offers a safe and exciting way for players to learn and develop fundamental hockey skills such as stickhandling, passing, shooting, defense, and teamwork — all in a fast-paced street hockey environment.
The Spring NHL Street Hockey Season kicks off in late March and runs through the beginning of May, offering an unforgettable experience of teamwork, competition, and fun!

LEAGUE INFORMATION

Weeks of Play:
4 weeks (6 games) April 12th will be our pre-season CLINIC and open house for all registered participants. The first official game day is April 19th.
Practices:
One practice per week (practice days and times are determined by the volunteer head coach). Our program relies on parents and family volunteers to coach and manage teams. We strongly encourage family members to volunteer during the registration process. We provide coaches with resources and support to ensure a fun and successful season!
GAME LOCATIONS
NHL STREET HOCKEY AGE DIVISIONS
(Age cut-off date: August 1, 2025)
When choosing an age division, please register your child based on their age as of August 1, 2025. Players may play up an age division if desired, but may not play down.

We encourage players to invite friends to join and for coaches to bring groups together to form teams. Whether registering individually, with friends, or as a full team, everyone is welcome. Our flexible registration options make it easy for all players to participate, meet new teammates, and enjoy the excitement of NHL Street Hockey in a fun, community-focused environment.

Deadline: March 1st, 2026
Registration remains open through March 1st, 2026. Register early to guarantee your spot for the Spring NHL Street Hockey season.
Late Registration (If Space Allows)
Registrations submitted after March 1st, 2026 are subject to a $20 late fee, pending available space. Divisions may fill quickly.
REFUND POLICY
Any registration cancelled before the regular registration deadline will receive a full refund minus a $20 cancellation fee.
Any cancellation after the registration deadline will receive a credit toward a future season. Credits are prorated based on the number of weeks played.

We strive to help develop both athletic skills and character in every participant. Participation is open to all boys and girls.
