When NS started in 2003, it was in response to a much needed positive flag football experience for kids in our area. NS continues to keep positive sports experiences accessible to our local kids through our NFL Flag, Jr. NBA basketball and World cup soccer program.  

Recently, we have been following the Esports platform as another option for bringing positive game play to our area.  Esports is quickly growing in popularity in schools and colleges around the country and was just recognized by CHSAA as a competitive activity. Esports is a growing industry engaging 226 million players worldwide. 

NS sees the benefit of Esports and an opportunity to get more kids involved. It's easy to compare athletic competitive to Esports since they both have many of the same outcomes.

• Setting goals, analyzing strategies and establishing tactics.
• Learning to manage stress under pressure.
• Learning good sportsmanship and respect for the opponent and their skill level.
• Feeling of acceptance when participating in a league.
• Thinking quickly and strategically.
• Making friends who share their interest and passion while building a community.
